Elon Musk Quotes

Everyone of us knows that Elon Musk almost Cried when some NASA scientists like Gene Cernan disagreed with SpaceX.

These American Scientists Neil Armstrong, Gene Cernan and Neil deGrasse Tyson were against commercial planes that SpaceX was building. They believed that Commercial Planes can never be used to land on moon. Moreover, they have even opposed SpaceX.

On this topic, one interviewer asked Elon what thoughts he had about this. And Elon answers:

I would pray sad to see that because those guys are yeah those guys heroes of mine so it’s really tough you know I wish they would come and visit and see the hardware that was doing here and I think that would change their life. -Elon Musk

The below video is of Elon Musk interview where he tears up and almost cries because NASA Apollo Astronaut Neil Armstrong disagrees about SpaceX and private space companies.

Now, here comes the twist and the fun fact is that NASA has picked Elon Musk’s SpaceX to develop the first commercial lander and take the next two US astronauts to the moon.

According to the DPA news agency, the $2.9 billion deal is part of NASA’s Artemis initiative, which seeks to return astronauts to the moon by 2024 as a stepping stone to the first human mission to Mars.

SpaceX was pitted against Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ private space company Blue Origin and defence contractor Dynetics.

NASA Rules: Elon Musk After SpaceX Wins $2.9 Billion Contract to Build Moon Lander

Musk tweeted “NASA Rules!!” in response to the decision and also replied “We are honored to be part of the @NASAArtemis team”.

What makes Elon Musk so exceptional at anything he attempts?

His former college roommate and first wife have offered a potential explanation: The Tesla creator devotes himself with immense concentration and intensity to the things that he is passionate about. And he employs the same intensity and concentration in pursuing his goals.

Musk is, without a doubt, a brilliant thinker. But we all know extremely intelligent people who aren’t even a tenth as successful as Musk, if at all.
